Annual Support Campaign
The Galesburg Public Schools Foundation, the District 205 school board, administrators and teachers are all committed to providing a first rate education for our students. All groups work together to discover and implement ways in which the educational environment can be enriched for the districts nearly 4,800 students.
Our Annual Support Campaign provides
additional funding to accomplish these goals. Each year, a letter
is sent to our supporters requesting a tax-deductible donation.
Donors are given information about the many educational projects
the Foundation has funded during the previous year and a sketch
of future needs for the district.
These funds, along with those raised by our Annual Duck Race (see Annual Duck Race), are then awarded through individual grants to each school. This allows for every dollar spent to custom fit the unique needs of each school.
