Mission Statement
The Galesburg Public Schools Foundation is a chartered,
not-for-profit foundation with a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt
status. The purpose of the Foundation is to raise funds to
enhance the educational, interscholastic and extracurricular
programs in District 205, and to strengthen the relationship
between the public schools and the community.
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of a diverse cross section of Galesburg. An Administrator manages the day to day operations and is responsible for coordinating the volunteers, fundraising and bookkeeping. (see Board and Staff)
